Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties is excited to announce that we have adopted the Kentucky Derby event formerly hosted by The Smith Brown Foundation. The 5th Annual Kentucky Derby, Brims & Bow Ties will be held on May 7, 2022 at the Louis and Gloria Flanzer Boys & Girls Club. Join us as we honor Sister Ann Denicolo and the legacy of Louis and Gloria Flanzer. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. All proceeds will support our valuable programs designed to enhance our Club members’ academic success, healthy lifestyles and character development at the Louis and Gloria Flanzer Boys & Girls Club. Brims & Bow Ties engages over 200 guests representing our community’s social philanthropists, foundations, community leaders, donors, and friends of Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. Join us for a fun-filled evening that will include a silent and live auction, hat and tie contest and supporting our local youth.
